I replaced the multifunctional turn signal switch and put everything back together, then reconnected the battery. When I turned the key over to check if it worked the hazards were blinking and I cannot get them to stop. I tried pulling the hazard button in and out to see if it was stuck and checked the fuse, that's okay. I ended up pulling the fuse to get the blinking to stop but my question is... How do I diagnose this problem? Where do I start and did I do something wrong when installing the multifunction switch. I put everything back where it goes except the keychime for when you turn the key it makes the buzzing noise. Anything helps...

Hello,

It sounds like the new switch is defective which happens, also is the electrical connector the exactly the same as the old one? Unless you pinched some wires somewhere the new switch will be the problem. Please upload a short video in your response of the problem, so I can see what's going on. This can help us fix the problem. Ken
