Trunk opens by itself

The key-less remote does not work and the trunk opens by its self. i have changed the battery in the remote.

Are you sure the trunk is actually opening on its own or that it is not fully closed and just popping open?
A trunk release solenoid that is stuck or sticking open might be the cause.
As far as the key fob goes, perhaps the key fob itself is just bad. Have you tried anything else as far as the key fob goes? Any relearn, etc?
