The trunk will pop but it does not say Deck on the dashboard anymore?

My trunk will pop but it doesn’t say Deck on the dashboard anymore. This allows my top to be able to go down with the trunk open. Help please.

This can happen when the micro switch inside the latch fails and needs to be replaced. Here are the instructions on how to do so. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
