So about a week ago, my truck (D100 318) ran fine, but then one day, I started it and it took a little longer than usual to start, but it did it. For the next day, every time I tried to start it again, it took longer each time. Then, going down the road, as I hit the gas from a stop, it moves, jerks and the idle goes down, and then gets power at about twenty mph. We checked it and the heater core is unmounted somehow, and the vacuum lines were hooked on wrong on the one closest to the back of the engine bay. It has three solenoids with three vacuum hoses in it. We hooked it back up correctly and all seemed okay other that the bottom line that had broken on the closest solenoid to the front. I put my finger on both broken parts of it and it did not have any blowing or suction. Then I tried to start the truck, which took a while, and the carburetor backfired for the first time in the seven months I have had the truck. It was getting fuel just fine though. Then we got it started and put the air filter cover back in, and it ran fine and drove fine. Today, it had trouble starting and I was pumping the gas because otherwise it would not start. It then kept trying to start but was not quite there, backfired, and revved up. Idle seemed okay, but was not constant. Then I put it in reverse, backed up about three feet, and it stalled (also for the first time). I put it in park, and tried again, and it started. Then I got on the road and it almost stalled trying to get up to speed until I hit about thirty five. It did that the whole way to my house. I have checked the codes on it by turning the key on and off three times and the codes it shows are 12 (battery disconnected in the last fifty cycles, which is not true because I have not disconnected it since February), 34 (vacuum lines), 32 (short or open in the EGR circuit), and 45 (short or open in overdrive circuit). At this point I am not sure what to check.
