Hesitation when attempting to accelerate

When I start to drive and it's time to pick up speed, It starts to hesitate when I try to force it. It will not go pass 30 mph. It's scary at times.

It sounds like you might have a weak or failing fuel pump and is not providing adequate pressure.First thing I suggest you do is test the fuel pressure.If you don't have access to a fuel pressure tester most auto parts stores have a tool loaner program and can rent you one.Here is a tutorial showing what is involved:
