I watched your YouTube video of cleaning the throttle body in the first part, and I am wondering if it would be good if I cleaned the whole intake manifold to remove all those carbon or black smears (I don't know what to call them) and to improve all those unstable idle or rough riding when it goes uphill.

Hi,

That's a good question. Unless it is extremely contaminated, chances are it won't change anything. Make sure the throttle body is clean, especially around the throttle bore/plate.

When you reinstall things, make sure everything is tight and there are no air leaks.

Let me know if that takes care of your concerns. If it doesn't, we will proceed with other checks. Additionally, let me know exactly what you are experiencing.

Take care,

joe
