When you installed the belt with marks in the right position. Did you turn the crankshaft twice to be sure everything would line back up before installing everything?

What is the reason you are replacing the belt? did it break while driving?

Does this vehicle have a disturbutor or is it a coil on plug? If it is coil on plug, then using a timimg light ain't gonna help much. I would do a compression test to make sure no valves were damaged. Check for codes.
