tricky finding transmission to replace model TZ1A4ZMFAA-M7. is there a compatible unit, 2004 Subaru LL Bean H6 3.0?

The TZ1A4ZMEAA will work from 03 models. Also the 2004 H6 4EAT can be used if you remove the tail shaft and swap the transfer duty solenoid and valve. You may want to try car-part.com for units. Below is a diagram.
