My motor is shaking. When I start it up everything is okay I can drive about a mile or two and when I hit on my brake my my motor begins to shake bad and my Jeep turns off by itself. I put new spark plugs change the oil and new filter any clue on what's happening so I can get back to rolling again?

Hi,

We need to start with a possible vacuum leak. Here is a guide that will help walk through this:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-use-an-engine-vacuum-gauge

Also, we need to check and see if there are any codes even if the check engine light is not on. If there are no codes then a vacuum leak is the most likely cause.

If you don't have the ability to pull codes, then most parts stores can pull them free of charge.

Let me know what you find and we can go from there. Thanks
