Transmission wiring diagrams

Vehicle was hit by a deer (yes the deer hit the car not the other way around)

I have multiple error codes referring to the transmission sensors/solenoid circuit being open but can not find any wiring diagrams or even a simple fuse box diagram to help.

The TCM is located in the driver's side fender, which is where the deer hit. I have codes for solenoid 3 open circuit, input turbine speed sensor open circuit, and transmission temperature sensor implausible signal.

Would greatly appreciate some data sheets or guidance on where to start with a diagnosis. My only option right now seems to be just replacing the TCM and/or speed sensor and crossing my fingers. I'd rather know for sure if they need to be replaced or not.

If you provide the codes that you have, I can provide the actual testing for these so that you can run through the testing to find out if it is a circuit issue or the TCM.

P2725 and P0715 are the codes related to the transmission. Appreciate the quick response and diagrams. thank you very much.

P2725 - Pressure Control Solenoid E - Clearly this is most likely a solenoid issue as it is telling you that this solenoid cannot control the fluid pressure.

P0715 - Input speed sensor circuit performance.

With having these two codes, either you have two issues or most likely the TCM is the issue itself.

The P0262 - is an injector code so it is likely not related.

Please run through the voltage checks with the wiring diagram info and let us know what you find. Thanks

The 00262 was not a P code, just started with the double zero. Now that I know the solenoid and speed sensor are not directly linked I believe you are correct about it being an issue with the TCM but I hope to be able to test it later today. The TCM is located behind the drivers side front fender which is what took the majority of the impact. I've been trying to finish my bodywork on that area before removing the fender again to check the wires. I greatly appreciate your assistance, It's been next to impossible to find any diagrams or information anywhere else. I will let you know what my results are, but while I am here, is there any chance you can provide me with the fuse box diagrams as well? They also have proven to be very hard to locate. VW didn't print them on the inside of the fuse box covers, or in the owner's manual

Found the shorted wires. Cut them out and soldered them back together. This took the vehicle out of limp mode and cleared most of the codes, however the P0175 input turbine speed sensor still comes back. Going to test those specific wires again tonight and see if somehow I missed a break or something. I read online that it could be sending the code due to low transmission fluid, however my vehicle doesn't have a dipstick for the transmission so checking fluid levels won't be so simple.. will report back after tonight's round of testing.

This could be as simple as a sensor issue or a wiring issue. It is unlikely that this is the only code if the fluid is low but it is worth checking.

So I attached the process for the sensor and checking and filling the fluid.
