Hello, the vehicles transmission is not smart while accelerating as if some of the solenoid are not responding the way they supposed. I don't know if I can get the circuit diagram of the transmission. If I can measure resistance without removing the oil pan. No codes on it memory.

If I use that harness connector shown in the image, what would be the pinout?

Hi,

First, I attached the wiring schematic for the transmission circuit. I cut the pics in half to make them more readable. I did overlap them so you can follow from one to the next.

The connector you attached a picture of, what specifically is it for?

As far as tests, they really need to be done using a scan tool. I have diagnostics, but they are specific to codes.

Let me know what I can do to help.

Take care,

Joe

How can it be carried out using scan tool?

Hi,

The diagnostics using a scanner are listed by diagnostic trouble codes. Let's narrow it down. Is it all gears that you experience the issues with or one specific shift? For example, the 2-3 shift.

Let me know.

Hi,

Are you able to feel it when it happens shifting?

Let me know.

Yes, it can be felt while shifting.

But I felt that it can be shift manually if the solenoid are connected to a switch panel with the shift schedule known.

Do you feel it in all gears? Also, if you can control the solenoids, yes you can cause it to shift. You should be able to perform this with a scan tool that can communicate with the transmission circuits.

I was considering to shift it manually, I mean connecting switch to the transmission and controlling the shift manually while the vehicle is moving.

Hi,

See if that is something your scan tool will let you do. I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Let me know.

Hi,

Absolutely not. You are always welcome to ask me questions. There is no such thing as a bad question. I actually look forward to finding your questions. And in no way do I feel anyone is stupid. LOL I wish I could work with you. I would learn a lot.

You take care of yourself and feel free to ask any questions.

Good morning sir, most of the questions I am asking, the idea is to find a way of testing if the transmission itself is bad, that the problem is not electrical issue or hydraulic circuit problem. Using the connector show below, I am just trying to connect it to the transmission solenoid so that I can be activating them manually, shift the gear myself as the vehicle is moving if I can have the transmission shift schedule. That thing on the diagram below will be connected to the transmission and switch panel will be connected to it.

Good morning sir, thank you for your concern. from the shift schedule, if the gear did not shift at particular vehicle speed that it supposed then there is a problem, for instance at 90km/hour, if the vehicle is still at fifth gear then something is wrong?

For the second diagram with "check for shock and slip", when is transmission said to be slipped?
Is it failing to move to higher gear or when it moved to higher gear then back to lower gear then move again with the acceleration pedal still press?

I sincerely apologize that I disturb a lot, I was also asking for something like the one showed below, that can show the solenoid that is expected to be "on" or "off" at different gears, so that one can engage them manually will the vehicle running and the second diagram showing the clutch or band that is expected to engage at a particular gear.

Good morning, sir.

I have not forgotten what I needed, those images I attached above are example of what I am asking for. I got those ones online and they are not for the vehicle. I don't know if I can get the one for the vehicle. I asked some questions yesterday but no response was given.

Hi,

I don't have anything like you listed above. The only things I was able to find related to shift solenoids/points are attached below.

Let me know if this helps.

Take care,

Good morning, sir, I have disturbed you a lot.
What I am working at is for instance, after the road test, it was observed that the transmission doesn't shift from gear 2.
This are the following questions I want to answer:
1. What are the solenoids that are responsible for the shifting from gear 2?
2. What are the bands or clutch that could be responsible for that?
3. is the pressure in the system enough to engage the clutch or band?

Hi,

You aren't bothering me at all. I'm glad to help.

I attached line pressure testing procedures which include pressure specifications and a diagram of shift solenoids 2 and 3.

Let me know if this helps.

Good morning, sir. from the pictures you sent earlier (5th), that has the evaluation of the hydraulic result. The brakes (b1 and b2) or clutch that could be defective. How can someone knows them, any diagram for that?

Hi,

If line pressure is low in drive, then the clutch or a leak is the likely cause. If pressure is low in reverse, then suspect a brake issue.

Let me know. I don't have a specific diagram for that.

Take care,

Joe

Thank you, sir.
Sir, for instance if the line pressure is low in drive, then one will suspect clutch or a leak, how can someone distinguish between the two or any other test?
How can someone distinguish between oil pump and regulator valve defective?

By testing the solenoid, it will indicate if there is a leak by indicating low pressure.
