Where is the transmission shift solenoid/valve body located?

I took out the valve body and found that the shift solenoids were not located there. I need to know the best manual that will show actual re-install procedures of the valve body, as well as the location of the shift solenoid (removal/reinstall procedures as well). The Haynes manual absolutely useless, and I cannot find definitive proof that the mitchell1 will cover the transmission area that I need. If there is a parts blow up you can share that is great, but I really need an actual shop manual with images/procedures.
