Transmission solenoid?

My car will shift from 1st to 2nd but not from 2nd to 3rd and it stays stuck in 3rd gear always. What replacement part would I need? I have asked every place around and no one can tell me.

Hi,

We need to have the computer scanned for diagnostic trouble codes, so we know approximately where the cause is coming from. I say that because there are different solenoids that can cause shift issues. See pic below. Note: These are all on the transmission valve body.

Let me know if this has already been done. If it has, what code was retrieved?
