My seal is leaking. Started at the beginning of the week. I got under to check. Something told me to check the bolts. A couple of bolts were loose. Two heads were broken off and just pushed into the silicone. What do I need to do here?

Hi,

If the pan gasket is leaking, this is a good time to service the transmission. You will need to remove the transmission pan to replace the gasket and then refill the transmission fluid, so I would recommend replacing the filters as well.

If you look below, I attached the directions specific to this vehicle. Take a look through them and let me know if it helps or if you have questions,

take care,

joe

I have 2 bolt heads that were broken off. They pretty much just twisted off. They were just sticking to the silicone. They are broken off inside.. What's the best way to tackle that?

Hi,

If you are referring to the pan bolts, remove the pan and see if there is any of the broken bolt sticking out. If there is, see if you are able to get it to turn using channel locks or a good pair of vice grips.

If they are broke flush, you will need to drill a center hole in the bolt and use an easy-out to remove them.

Let me know.

I just realized my sensor is leaking as well. Is that pretty easy?

Hi,

Do you know which sensor it is? I'm trying to picture sensors on the exterior of the housing and am not having any luck. If you aren't sure which sensor, it is, take a pic and upload it for me to see.
