Transmission pops out of gear

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.com. Restarted there was a banging when put in gear.

To answer your question, there are no lock out switches or anything that can be done manually that would cause this. Have you checked to make sure one of the CV joints on the axle has not broken?
