My car broke down so to say on the highway and i got it towed home safely. But what happened is it stopped accelerating. I put it in park and it revved perfectly fine. Then i put it in to drive and it slowly moved forward without pressing on the gas pedal. Then i pressed on the gas pedal and it didnt accelerate at all. I tried the same thing in reverse and got the same result. I put it into neutral after that and it revved perfectly fine but after i tried it in drive and reverse again it did not accelerate at all. Whats wrong?

scan for codes and check fuel pressure first auto parts rent gauge but you may need an adapter for fuel pressure.
