Transmission not going into 2nd & 3rd

Hi my 2005 ford ba xr6 XT Won’t go into 2nd, 3rd. There was a really small amount of metal in the transmission oil pan but enough to be worried about from my view.

It sounds like you have an input shaft speed sensor that is not working. We should run the codes first though this guide can help, and I have left instructions on how to change out the shift solenoids in the diagrams below.
