I park, turn off the bus, turn it on again and it runs normally until the problem repeats. The problem arises between 1 and 3 miles of low-speed travel from 0 to 30 miles per hour.

Hi,

Something is causing the transmission to go into what is called limp mode. Basically, the term is exactly what it sounds like. It is used to prevent additional damage to the transmission, but it allows you to "limp" to safety.

What you need to do is have the can-bus scanned to identify diagnostic trouble codes. That will point us in the right direction.

CAN stands for controller area network. Basically, the different modules are tied together via a few wires. This type of scan will retrieve codes regardless of the module storing them.

Here is a link that shows how it's done:

Let me know if that is something you can do or have done. This is where we need to start.

Take care,

Joe

Good morning. Thanks for the timely help. I scanned the bus and the codes you gave go to the address you mentioned, I sent you photos and any suggestion or help is highly appreciated. If you could send me a diagram of the Cam Bus circuit, I would appreciate it. Jose

Hi,

If you look below, I attached the can-bus wiring schematic. The schematic was one page in length. However, I had to cut it in half to make it readable for you. I did overlap the two so that you can follow from one to the next.

Take a look at what I attached and let me know if it helps.

Take care,

Joe
