Okay, I purchased this car about a month and a half ago. Daily driver, no issues shifting, always smooth. Stopped at a light and it acted like it was going to shut off, oil pressure light came on. I pulled immediately into a gas station and shut it off. Checked oil and oil level was good. Tried to start it, and it came right on. OD off light flashes sixteen times. Put car in reverse and it shuts off. SES came on right when this happened, throwing 0741 code. Haven't tried to drive it in d. Just know it shut off in reverse, and was afraid to do more damage.
Also, the transmission has no problems shifting in and out of neutral to park. We put it in neutral to push out of spot to tow. And there's no catch or stall or misfire, just a smooth cut off. Someone mentioned a fail-safe switch possibly.
