Alright, I drive daily about 10 miles averaging around 25-30 MPH, she's fine. Quick jaunt doing 35-55 MPH. Sure. I take it on the freeway doing 70-75 she's great until I stop or drop my speed. She'll rev but won't go anywhere. Replaced the thermostat and the more I hear and research, I think I'm looking at a solenoid, transmission fluid cooler, or (ugh) a transmission pump.. Ideas? She's a nice car for her age... Only forty-six thousand miles on her. The only key code I get is code 12, which is some battery code.

Good morning,

Code 12 is a normal code for key on, engine off. That only means the engine is not running.

As far as the transmission, I would start by changing the fluid and filter. If the filter is clogged, it will do this.

If it were a solenoid or something electronic, it would set a code.

This transmission has a reset procedure which means it has adaptive strategy or it learns how to shift properly. I attached it below for you.
