transmission goes into gear, but the car will not move?

I would check the CV axles because it sounds like one of them is broken. Look under the car at the axles to see if one of them is turning while the car is in reverse. Stand to the side of the car and be careful. If one is broken here is how to change it out in the images below. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
