I have lost my car manual. I am trying to find out what transmission fluid I need to use and how much I will need. The video did not specify this.

2.10 Qts (2 Liters) of Dexron II for the automatic transmission
If you do a google search using "1997 Toyota Tacoma owners manual pdf" you can at least obtain your manual for a future reference.
Not trying to run you off or nothing with the previous information, but I would be lost without a repair manual for my Jeeps not being on-board each of them! Right there when a problem should occur anywhere/ anytime!
