Transmission fluid temperature sensor removal

Hi guys, i would like some information on replacing the transmission fluid temperature sensor on the vehicle. i was told the valve body has to be taken down. is that true?

Hi,

I attached the location of the temperature sensor and it does appear to be behind the valve body. I attached the process on how to remove the valve body and the pressure switch so clearly you can ignore that part. It does not have a specific process for the sensor but that should be attached to the internal harness once you get the valve body down.
