transmission fluid placement

I believe I have placed my new transmission fluid in the wrong place. I am being told i put it where engine oil goes. I watched the video that is online. Would you please tell me where exactly it goes? All i see is one tube with a check stick in it.

Sure, the engine oil dip stick is yellow and has a ring on it with a dip stick connected and will be slightly in front of the transmission fill tube. Your car may or may not have a dip stick for the transmission. The tube for the transmission will be larger in diameter. If there is no dipstick for the transmission you can purchase one for Mercedes.
