Transmission fluid in radiator

My son accidentally put transmission fluid in his radiator. Then (for some reason that I don't understand) he drove it. What should he do? Is it ok if he drives the half hour to work tomorrow?

you never stated how much.............. i would drain the system and re fill with coolant
