My 1994 4x4 standard cab has a bad 5 spd transmission .
Can I use a 1994 2wd 5 spd transmission?
If I pull the tail shaft off the 2wd transmission can I mount the transfer case on it and will this work ? Or is this not an option?

Hello, I'm Danny.

Unfortunately no, It will not work. The output shalfts on a 2wd and 4wd are different lengths.You will have to use a 4wd transmission.Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
