Transmission losing connection to the transmission control module. I was trying to locate it so I can inspect the connector and wires to reset it.

Where is the Transmission control module located?

Hello,
Your vehicle is fitted with the 6T45 transmission.
The TCM (Transmission Control Module) is located inside the transmission.
It is part of the valve body. See image 2.

To reset the unit you will need to disconnect the 14 pin connector on the transmission housing. See image below.
Do you have any fault codes for the transmission?
If so, please post them on our site for evaluation.
To read out fault codes please carry out a CAN-scan.
