Thank you in advance. Will a transmission from a 2003/2004 Rodeo with the 3.2 exchange with the 2002 3.2 ? A lot of sellers distinguish the models as 1999-2002 and 2003-2004 with the transmissions they offer. On the surface it is not logical for them not to exchange. There is a significant difference in price and availability also. Oddly going to some junk yard sites, and using their part finder it will show an engine out of a 2004 will work with a wide range, but the same transmission will not. If not directly compatible then any tricks to make it work?
