Transmission blown - problem is there are two different part numbers / descriptions, so need clarification to get correct part.

2005 Jeep Liberty Limited 3.7L 4WD auto transmission has two different transmission assemblies, and two different ways to describe each: either as having one or two connectors (T151208 vs T151217) on each side, or as having 3 wire plug connectors LH side ( 52850696AB) or 4 wire plug connectors LH side (4810426AA) . Someone else is replacing the transmission, and I want a used part. The ruined transmission is still one the vehicle til I get the new one. I see two fluid lines on the left side, but my visibility on the right is limited, so I can't see if there are any line high up. I also think I only see 3 wire plug connectors on the left, but I'm not absolutely sure. I believe I have conflicting info from the Jeep Service rep-he says I need tag ID part 5143971AA, which corresponds to a "one connector on each side." Are these 1/2 connectors referring to fluid lines? If so, it seems I have the 2 connector (variable pressure) transmission, but I still need to know which of the "wire plug connector" numbers it corresponds to. I do have a VIN number as I'm told that may be used to find the exact part . Thanks.
