Normal driving speed drops from overdrive to drive and has to be manually downshifted and will only go into second to be able to start from a stop. When the vehicle is turned off and then started again it works normal until it does it again. I have replace both filters and fluid. Problem persists.
Also having a popping sound coming from the front end when backing, turning, and starting out, all initially and then nothing.
any help is very much appreciated. I am able to do repairs so if anyone can tell me where to start it will really help.
