Transmission will not shift into fourth gear

Car shifts hard into gear's when taking off, then only shifts in to third gear will not shift into fourth. When I come to a stop car stays in third takes off slow. Still will not shift into fourth. Can you please let me know what I need to do?

Hello,

It sounds like the out shaft speed sensor VSS is not working correctly which may or may not trigger a check engine light. Here is a guide that will help us pull codes:

Here is the location of the sensor below. Check out the diagrams (below). Please run this test and get back to us.
