Transmission will not select gears automatically?

Removed the head and replaced valves and resembled. Car runs fine transmission has fluid but will not select gears automatically but will select manually. Transmission was working before I removed the head. Fuses are good.

I would make sure all the of systems ground are connected, they can be left off while doing a big job like a cylinder head removal. If the grounds are all good let's run the codes to see which ones are stored, this guide can help:
