Transmission replacement issue?

I have the truck listed above long bed with a 4.3 L V6 4L60E transmission one piece casing 6 bolt pattern, it has gone out on me. I have a 4L60E 3-piece casing with a 2800 to 3,000 stall torque converter. I'm trying to put in the truck my problem is the torque converter will not bolt to the flywheel. I just recently understood that they make adapter plates to fix this problem my problem is I don't know which adapter plate to get or what it's actually called
