When i shift at high rpm's in second gear only it grinds.

Hi Weldon
It sounds like you have a pilot bearing that is going out not allowing the input shaft to slow down enough to change gears causing the grinding you are talking about,, here is a guide that will show you what you are in for when replacing it. There is a slight possibility you have a transmission synchro that is worn out which is inside the transmission
