My car will go into reverse but not drive forward unless the transmission is unplugged. i have already replaced all solenoids and filter has been replaced along with putting new fluid into it. So i am clueless on what the problem could be?

Okay, did all this happen at once?

they all have in common the transmission control module.

it could be either wiring harness or the module itself. these all need to be checked to determine the exact failure.

Well all i know is i got the car from a friend like this and he had got it like that and never even drove it, but i thought it would be a easy fix. so i guess to answer your question i do not really know if all happened at once. And i already replaced the control module and the solenoids so i am just kind of stuck here on this one.
