I do not necessarily have a problem but an important question. I recently put my car into reverse while moving around twenty mph, and the engine stalled. Is there a possibility I could have damaged my transmission or the torque converter?

Possibility of damage? Yes it is possible. Did it do damage? Very hard to say. Does it still run and shift okay? If yes then I would say to drive it until it shows a problem, then make a decision.

Okay, yeah it seems to shift fine and runs okay. it felt a bit wobbly when driving but that may just be me. Would the check engine light codes say anything about this?

It could have a code for something like improper shift but I sort of doubt it. The transmission module might have something similar. Is the CEL on?

It is but only because there is something else wrong with the vehicle, it has been on for months and we have gotten it checked out at two places. one says something is cracked in the engine (do not know what part) and the other says there is no crack anywhere and that it is minor things that we should not worry about.

Do you know what code(s) they actually read were? Post them here and we can give you more information.

Please do that. Leaving the light on isn't a good thing.
Suppose you have it on for something like a P0455 EVAP code. Not a "must repair now" code. Then the engine starts detecting a P0300 (random multiple misfire) with the light on already you won't see it coming on for the misfire code, which is a "fix me NOW" code as it can easily destroy the converter.
