Put new transmission filter and fluid. When I start the motor. Transmission, when I put it in gear it doesn't move or go in gear. So what's the solution to have and go in gear.

Hi,

Was this an issue before the transmission service? If I recall, the filter should have an o-ring where it goes into the valve body. Did you remove the old one and install the new one? Also, was the filter fully installed? If the seal/o-ring isn't properly installed, it can cause a low-pressure issue.

Let me know. Also, take a look at the attachments. They are related to what I'm referring to. One more thing. Let me know if there are any noises when you shift and if you checked to make sure the shift linkage is properly attached.

Take care,

Joe

I did put everything back together like it should. When I put the transmission in gear and don't move. I put it in all gears and it still doesn't move.

Did this happen all at once or did it just start since you replaced the filter? Also, are there any noises when you try to move it? If you place the vehicle in park, are you still able to move the vehicle? I'm questioning a broken axle/cv joint. Last, have you checked the linkage at the transmission to see if it moves when shifting? If not, have a helper shift through the gears while you watch to make sure it is moving.

I attached a pic below showing the linkage/cable at the transmission.

Let me know.
