Replaced the transmission gearbox and an error appeared and when attempting to shift the transmission it does not register or move?

If the fluid is full and there is no response, it could be related to the range sensor/park selector switch. However, it is integral to the shift lock solenoid and shouldn't have been touched.

When you shift through the gears, does the gear indicator show the correct gear? If it doesn't, we need to scan the can-bus to see what codes are stored.

Let me know. Also, let me know if the transmission is used or new. I reviewed the manual for replacing it, and there is nothing indicating reprogramming requirements.

Got the code read and it shows transmission locked.

What was the code that was retrieved? Also, does the gear indicator work inside the vehicle?

Okay, update i changed valve body and it moves now but 3rd gear it won't shift unless its redlined. But if i do the manual shift it goes through the gears, no problem.

That's a step in the right direction. Are there still codes stored? If so, let me know what they are. Before you indicated the scan tool showed "transmission locked." Let me know the actual code.
