Transfer case replacement - transfer case all wheel drive cracked

My 244d transfer case all wheel drive cracked from the top to the bottom. I tried putting quick steel on it but I dont trust it. I have been finding alot of 243d transfer cases. My question is will the 243d transfer case work in place of the 244d?

If you have the 244 then you have AWD, 4LOCK, 4LO, and Neutral, correct?

The 243 is different. It is actually a 2WD, 4HI, 4LO, and Neutral. So unfortunately it may bolt up but will not function the same with the controls through the Transfer case control module.
