I had my engine replaced about six weeks ago. Today, I noticed the transmission is leaking fluid from around the bolts, running down the pan and making a puddle in the driveway. Did this have anything to do with the engine replacement? Should I just try to tighten the bolts? I do not know how to tell if pan gasket. Please help!

Good afternoon.

No, it has nothing to do with the engine replacement.

Yes, you can try to tighten them. if they are not loose, the the pan gasket may be the failure and it will have to be changed.
