Hello,

This Direct Trouble Code (DTC) is just an informational DTC letting you know that there are transmission DTC's set. I have included the factory description of this DTC in the diagrams down below. Please go through this guide and get back to us with how everything turns out.

Thanks,
Alex

Good morning,

The 700 indicates a general transmission code. It says there is a fault stored in the system. There should be another code listed. Recheck and see if there are any other codes listed.

What issues do you have with the transmission?

Hi again,

The code has nothing to do with the sensors. It is all about the 2-4 shift solenoid.

I listed the possibilities below for you to view. These items need to be checked for the failure. It may be just the solenoid or it may be wiring to the solenoid.

How long since you changed the fluid and filter?

I attached a picture of the valve body. The solenoids are at the valve body and control the shifting of the transmission based on other sensor inputs.

Yea, I have changed the filter on Saturday fluid looked good red with little shavings. I have not changed the solenoid pack yet. I know AutoZone has for $158.00 going to do that.

Hello again,

Make sure you verify voltage to the solenoid pack as well.

The shavings are not a good sign at all. Those could be in the valve body not allowing the valve to move for shifting.
