Transmission fluid is pushing up through the dipstick and it is slipping gears.

trans fluid is probably low causing the slippage and vent may be blocked causing to puke through dipstick. the vent may be on top of trans which if you twist cap around and make sure nothing is around it. it's plastic. it also can be a valve body problem which a trans guy should check out.

Im in the process of dropping the pan now and checking my filter for blockage. It makes a whirring sound when running. Never seen a vent.

it is on top of the case so it may be hard to see if you can feel around up there it's plastic and twirl the cap a bit. but like I said it may be something else inside trans.i doubt a blocked filter would do that.if you have a whirring sound then a trans guy should definitely see this.
