As i fill it up it leaks right out, barely taking in anything i pour in. Where the dipstick is located following down to the transmission is where the leak helps. can anyone point me in the right direction as to fixing it?

Hi,

These are very basic. There will be one bolt that holds the dipstick tube on the engine. Remove it and then gently remove the tube. At the bottom is an o-ring. Either the o-ring is bad or there is a hole in it from rust or damage.

Because of the model year, I don't have a pic of it. However, I attached a pic below of a newer one. The pic shows a portion of the tube. I put a red line from the dipstick tube to approximately where it would go.

I found a pic online of a tube. I highlighted where the bolt would go and the o-ring. In the pic, they didn't use an o-ring. However, and it's been awhile, but I believe that is what is on your vehicle.

Honestly, this isn't too difficult to do. More than anything, space will be an issue.

Let me know what I can do to help or if you have other questions.

Take care and God Bless.

Joe

It's hard for me to tell by the picture. Is the leak where the tube goes into the transmission?

Let me know.

That appears to be a transmission cooler line. See if it runs to the bottom of the radiator. If it does, you will need to replace it. Chances are you won't be able to get a direct fit cooler line. You will need to make one or you can cut the bad section out and get high pressure fuel line and use fuel injector clamps to hold the hose in place.

Let me know and I'll try my best to help.
