Transmission disengaged while driving, code p0731

Installed new struts on front driver side rear caliper and brakes. noticed ABD, ESP, BAS lights on. drove it to work and on the way back transmission stopped pulling. now only reverse works. wondering if it could be sensors or more likely the transmission is toast? There is a p0731 code.

I don't think that the transmission is toast. In the diagrams down below I have included the factory diagnostic troubleshooting guide for DTC P0731. It will help you pinpoint the problem so you can get it fixed, right, the first time. Please go through this guide and get back to us with what you are able to find out.
