tranismission not shiffting right when warm

"Not shifting right" is wide open to interpretation. Your mechanic is going to need a much more detailed description than that. Most transmissions today require special equipment to add fluid. Unless there is a leak, changing the fluid won't fix a mechanical or electrical problem. The first step is to have the diagnostic fault codes read and recorded. Those will indicate the circuit or system that needs further diagnosis.
