I'm not very well versed with vehicles, on the Trailhawk is it equipped with a hitch for towing beneath the plastic on the back bumper? It appears to have a section that is removable but i didn't want to go messing with it without knowing what i was doing first.

It is possible however, we need to verify your Jeep has the optional towing package. If you provide me the last eight of you VIN I can look it up and find out if it has the tow package. If it does then you should have a hitch on it already.

You can also lay on the ground and look under there to see if the hitch is there.

Let me know either way and once we find out if it is equipped, we can get you detail on how to access it and the specs on the towing limitations. Thanks

The last 8 of my VIN is KD199802. I looked from underneath and everything is covered by the bumper and undercarriage. I wasn't sure if I should try to mess with it to open it up or not without speaking with someone more knowledgeable than me first.

Your VIN does not have the trailer towing package so it is not equipped to tow. I suspected this as I didn't think we put a cover over the hitch on Cherokee. However, I couldn't remember because the Grand Cherokee and Durango has a removable cover over the hitch. I attached a picture of what your bumper would look like if you had the package.

Let me know if you have other questions. Thanks
