Traction control off light turns on intermittently while driving

When you say the RPM odometer fails? Does the speedometer continue to work?

I ask because it sounds like you may have a wheel speed sensor going bad. IT would make sense if the speedometer would fail. That would cause the traction control light to turn on. Also, is the ABS light coming on?

Let me know as much as you can. Also, confirm for me that the tachometer (RPM) is going to 0.

Also, if you haven't already, have the computer scanned to see if there are any diagnostic trouble codes stored. Because the vehicle is newer, I recommend having the can-bus scanned. CAN stands for controller area network. Basically, all the modules/computers are tied together via a few wires. This type of scan will identify codes regardless of the module storing them. speedometer works fine just RPMs drop to 0 and stay there it won’t move. there is no ABS light and no check engine light. After complete stop car and wait few minutes started back up normal.

I just read through all wiring schematics related to the tachometer and traction control. The only thing that ties them together is the instrument panel. So, I would suggest two things.

First, confirm the connectors on the rear of the instrument cluster are tight. If they are, you should scan the can-bus to see if there is a code stored in the IP module simply because it could be several different things.

I do have one other question. Have you ever noticed while driving if you turn on a higher voltage component (for example headlamps or blower motor on high) if that causes it to happen? I'm questioning if it is a lower voltage issue or poor ground.
