I recently had my transmission replaced. About 1,500 miles later the check engine light came on and then traction control started to randomly come on and kill my engine power. I'd have to pull over and restart the car. Scanned for codes and got p2135 and c1130. Replaced the throttle body and c1130 went away, but p2135 remains. Rpms are now going up when idle and car shakes before turning on traction control. Even if I turn off traction control it still comes on and is becoming more frequent to the point where sometimes it turns on the moment, I start my car.

Yep, this happens when the throttle pedal position sensor needs to be replaced, here is information on the codes and I have included how to change out the sensor in the images below.

The P2135 code is a generic powertrain code that indicates a problem with the throttle/pedal position sensor/switch "A"/"B" voltage correlation.

Clear the codes once the repair is completed. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
