Traction and power steering problems

When I start my car my traction light comes on and stays on, then my power steering gets hard to turn. what causes this could it be a sensor are fuse?

check fuses under hood then have it scanned for codes by a mechanic. it may be an ABS problem which automatically knocks out cruise, and traction control.

I forgot to answer that, If this has electronic steering which if a four cylinder i would call dealer there is a campaign to fix this. it will be done for free there is a module and shaft problem.

Where do I go to the dealership and tell them because they telling me I don't have a recall on my vehicle but it have to be something

it is not a recall it is a campaign which is different. what engine do you have and is this have electronic steering? if you look on bottom of column you might see a box there. if you do tell them to look up campaign number 15356 if not a mechanic will have to scan for codes to see if it is a sensor on power steering. you can also call Chevrolet at their 800 number to inquire and give them your VIN number.

2.4L and it has electric power steering.

Thank you I just called Chevrolet's 1-800 number and they was telling me about the service for my power steering and the dealership have to fix it long as I am under 150,000 miles because it is something like a recall.

yes and if dealer does not want to do it call Chevrolet once more and complain they will fix it.
