I live in Alaska and have to swap out tires twice a year. Instead of paying someone to reset the tire pressure monitoring system, I would rather do it myself. Would the above tool allow me to accomplish the task on my 2012 Chevy Equinox?

if you have 8 wheels and tires with tpms sensors, then install the wheels and drive it to let the sensors communicate with the module.

Did that. Didn't work. That's how I found out that I need the tool to do it myself. Also tried the manual reset procedure. That didn't work either. That's when I found out that GM disabled that function on all models after 2011, hense requiring the reset tool to process the tpms functionality. So.. will that tool in my original email do the job on my 2012 equinox?
